I would recommend this for anyone who is serious about taking their surfing to the next level, it was fun to study like the Pros and the inspiration, awareness and perspective gained from the training is highly valuable, ofc it takes time, practice and dedication to apply all the knowledge but once applied you are gonna be good at surfing, ripping it Yeeew!!!
I did a five day surf camp with Gui and can’t recommend it enough. Perfect for true intermediate surfers (independent and confident in the water, can paddle into and catch head high waves, working on turns and probably been surfing at least a few years regularly), who want to improve, all the way up to top level surfers wanting to refine their technique, work on manoeuvres, or getting ready for a competition. He was ranked no.4 in the world at one point, so there really is no upper limit. Each day is a full day of professional training with 2, 2hr surfs, video analysis, surfskating and workshops. He took me along to a local apnea class too, which is well worth it if you can make it. You need a good level of fitness to get the most out of the camp and will leave fitter than when you started. Gui really cares that you improve too and gives you all the tools to continue to do so after you leave.
He is well known and respected in the area, as well as his girlfriend Julia, who takes care of a lot behind the scenes as well as doing a lot of the filming in all weathers!
If you are looking for a proper training camp, want to improve your surfing, are at an intermediate or above level and willing to put in the work, then this is the one for you.

His technical knowledge about surfing will help you progress in shorter time. Thanks to surfskate you can repeat surf movement when you are in controlled environment which makes it easier to repeat it in the water. Proper video analysis after every session will help you to find your mistakes and then work on them. Amazing experience 12/10. Can’t wait to be back to progress even more!

I did two surf training sessions per day for 10 days. Although Gui – being a pro surfer - prefers long term coaching of advanced surfers, he did his very best to fulfill my needs. He picked me up and was always on time. He spent two full hours in the water with me with his girlfriend making awesome videos, which he analysed for me in his home. He compleately adapted to my wishes and gave me the possibility to gain more confidence in the water by letting me discover a new spot on my own, making me practise some drills in the water and giving a very enlightening surfskate lesson. Gui is very friendly and helpful by nature. I can highly recommend a coaching with him!

A aula de surf, acaba por ser uma experiência única porque é com o Gui, um surfista que começou desde pequeno no surf, onde começou a competir muito cedo. Com isso, ele tem um conhecimento local do mar (peniche) que pouca gente tem.(sessões com ondas de qualidade, é com ele)
A mim, o que me cativou foi a humildade e professionalismo que o Gui tem. Tenho autonomia dentro de água e apanho umas ondas mas não surfo nada de jeito e, em momento algum senti-me julgado/desconfortado perante o Gui. Pelo contrário, fez de tudo para me pôr a vontade e conseguir que desse o melhor de mim (até quando já não tinha mais forças para remar o Gui reboquou-me várias vezes até o pico para apanhar mais ondas, o que achei de louvar por parte de um atleta de alto nível que tinha competição na semana a seguir,não são todos que o teriam feito). O conhecimento e as dicas que ele da dentro de água são top. Depois disso, temos as filmagens onde ele explica o que podemos e devemos melhor para nos tornamos melhor. Amei a experiência e recomendo a todos que queiram ter uma aula de qualidade superior.
